Thai Yoga Bodyworks
Lisa trained with Michael Sitzer whose unique style of Thai Yoga Bodywork is a blend of Thai Massage techniques, western massage, yoga, psychology, and somatics. The practice inspires the body to find healthier patterns which reflect more freedom of movement. The practitioner assists the participant into yoga-inspired poses and stretches creating ease and relaxation through enjoyable touch and therapeutic applications. Sessions are non-stressful and therapeutic techniques are delivered without force. Appropriate for all fitness levels. Thai yoga is sometimes called “Lazy Man’s” yoga as the participant relaxes while the practitioner “does the work”.
Getting Started
We begin with a postural analysis and functional movement assessment, review of your health history, and discussion of your goals and concerns. The results of your assessment will be the basis for developing your exercise program. With a full Pilates and yoga studio at our disposal, we’ll develop a program utilizing the equipment as best fits your needs and interests. As a 30-year veteran of the fitness industry Lisa holds a wide range of certifications across multiple disciplines. Her depth of experience is utilized to develop the plan to achieve your goals. You will be amazed by the changes in the way your body looks, moves, and feels.
